The Dual-Battery Charging Module (DBCM-40) is a "smart" charger for fishing boats. It automatically charges your 12V trolling motor battery and main battery together when your boat engine’s alternator is putting out charge current. When not charging both batteries remain separated so that you can discharge your trolling motor battery completely and still get off the lake with your main battery. The DBCM-40 module allows the batteries to reach full charge voltage over 14V, preventing shortened battery life.
The DBCM is also available in 75 Amp version.
